The Trust

A family consisting of wife(Annai Subbulakshmi Ammal), husband (Thanasiappan) and their three sons (Velmurugan, Nagaraj and Gopinath) conduct and take care of the temple administration. They have been performing selfless service for the welfare of the public based on the guidance of Ma Bhagavathy for the past 26 years. They have formed a “Public Charitable Trust” to serve the public in a better and transparent manner.
Manoor Sri Soolathu Bhagavathi Amman Public Charitable Trust has been formed for the welfare of public in general and is meant to undertake the following socio-religious activities,
• No money is charged for any religious activities performed (Archana, Acharam, Parikara, Abhishekam etc). Temple is conducted as a selfless service to the society and not aimed at any monetary benefits.
• Devotees who have benefitted from the blessings of the Goddess voluntarily take up temple projects and activities related to daily maintenance.
• Three festivals are conducted in the temple every year namely, Pookundam, Chitra Paurnami and Oonam.
• Annadhanam (free meals) is provided on a grand scale on every no moon day, full moon day, three festivals, 16 days before Pookundam and 7 days after Bharani festival and 9 days during Navarathiri.
