Manoor is a simple village situated in the outskirts of Dindugal district, Tamil Nadu. The near by pilgrimage town to Manoor is Palani which is famous for its Dhandayuthapani temple on the hill top for Lord Murugan (also called as Lord Subramaniya). Palani is the most visited pilgrimage town in Tamil Nadu and is well connected by road and railways. Manoor is around 10 kilometers (South/North) of Palani on the Dharapuram road via Alangiyam.
